It would be nice if there was some visual indicator for when a file pull operation is still ongoing

Is there a plan to support the Linux platform in this project?

Is this a bug in Phone -> Backup Restore? When I click on "Save to", a Windows Explorer window appears. Choose a save location e.g. Desktop\New folder. And click on "Save". But it does not work.

There is always an error message: backup_03/04/2020_23.36.39.ab
The file name is not valid.

But if I change other file name before e.g. 123. Then it works.

I use adbGUI 2.0

But when I run the software, it crashes immediately. Just click on the .exe file and immediately crashed

Tested on a Windows 8.1 (64 bit) + current Windows Update (February 2020)

Can you fix it?

If I use version adbGUI 1.0, no problems.

I attempted to install your adbGUI about 30 minutes ago and I have NEVER seen my security software flip out that much! Trojan alerts and blocking, firewall attacks and heuristic virus alerts and blocking.

I'll be spending then next couple of days going over my systems. Thanks for wasting my time.

Current version cant stop logcat. please, look at this PR and commit: 6e64089

Windows doesnt support backslash on file names so for example "screenshot_6/4/2017_6.27.52_PM.png" will give an error "File name not valid"

It asked me to download additional files, and can you please tell me the location of the downloaded files? and if you can, it would be best if the additional files were in a program directory is the same with adbgui.exe.

You can see an example below if my english is not understandable :(
(the additional files in here with/beside .exe file)

I think the way of dragging an apk file from explorer to installation windows is much better than openning a selection window then walking through directories to find target apk file.

The program puts a pair of " from string when pulling a file, but don't put it when listing.

It would also be good if you could change the version number to 2.0.0.0, because when I click on the adbGUI.exe file info, it always says 1.0.0.0.

1. For Phone -> Backup Restore. Can you add multi-select function at "Backup Package" and at "Open file"? Then I can restore my user apps faster.

2. Need multi-select function. Backup of the user application as apk file. Same for install and uninstall function.

It would be very good if the file name could be adjusted beforehand (it will be remembered automatically for all further operations). That means if I use "Backup Package", the "ab" file has this filename: NewPipe 0.18.5.ab, OpenBoard 1.3.ab etc.

Is it generally possible without root, but with adbGUI.exe. Backup and restore the game updates of offline games without downloading them again?

Googling the "1 is not a supported code page" error indicates it has something to do with system locale.

Support drag and drop the target file to the push window, which is much faster than the file manager selection.

1. Download these things

2. Unpack the ZIP file e.g. to Desktop. In this test it was this file: platform-tools_r30.0.5-windows.zip

3. Open the folder on the Desktop: /platform-tools

4. Put the adbGUI.exe into the folder /platform-tools

5. Start adbGUI.exe for example with a right double click action from the mouse.

6. Connect your Android device to the computer via USB cable.

7. Enable the developer options and USB debugging on the Android device.
   An example of how it works on a Google Android device.

8. Now the Android device appears in the top right corner of adbGUI.exe under Connected Devices:.
