1. By having multiple things running at once perhaps?  Was taking photos when a 
call came in, answered the phone, hung up the phone and pressed back to go back 
to the home screen from the camera app.  Phone froze after that.

unable to turn it back on again using the same button

Ich habe das Sensation so konfiguriert, dass sich die WLAN-Verbindung nicht 
trennt (Erweiterte WLAN-Einstellungen -> Standby-Richtlinie "Niemals"; seit 
Sense 3.5 Energie-Modus "Hohe Leistungsfähigkeit"). Trotzdem kommt es im 
Uninetz regelmäßig zu WLAN Verbindungsabbrüchen, die Wiederverbindung muss 
dann in 4 von 5 Fällen manuell erfolgen, da ein automatisches Einwählen trotz 
gesicherter Verbindungsdaten nicht erfolgt.

Das Netzwerk ist ein 802.1x EAP (PEAP) Netzwerk, ich habe also meine 
individuellen Zugangsdaten für das Netzwerk. Gleichzeitig habe ich ein 
Zertifikat auf meinem Handy installiert (Deutsche Telekom Root CA2), dieses ist 
im "Anmeldeinformationsspeicher" gesichert. Ich glaube, dass dieser 
"Anmeldeinformationsspeicher" direkt mit dem Problem zusammenhängt (allerdings 
wirklich nur eine Vermutung meinerseits). Unter Einstellungen -> Sicherheit -> 
"Sichere Anmeldeinformationen verwenden" gibt es ja die Möglichkeit, diesen zu 
deaktivieren, dann ist eine Verbindung mit dem Netzwerk allerdings nicht 
möglich (klicke ich das Netzwerk an, muss ich erst wieder das Passwort zum 
Anmeldeinformationsspeicher eingeben, damit wird er auch wieder aktiviert. Die 
Verbindungsdaten bzw. das Zertifikat sind also irgendwie "in" diesem Speicher 
gesichert).

Ich schreibe mal ausnahmsweise auf Deutsch, weil ich nicht glaube, dass ich die 
Problembeschreibung auf Englisch nicht ansatzweise so gut hingekriegt hätte. 
Ich weiß, dass es sich hierbei nicht um ein Kernel-Problem handelt, allerdings 
könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass es vielleicht auf Kernel-Ebene zu lösen ist. 
Wenn du irgendwelche Logs oder weitere Informationen von mir brauchst, sag 
einfach bescheid, ich bin immer mal wieder an der Uni ;)

I had the phone at the wall charger, it was running normally. After some time I 
wanted to check charging state, pressed the power button, nothing happened. I 
put the wall charger out, the orange LED was still on and didn't switch off 
until I put the battery out. After that I put it back in, connected the phone 
to USB and created the log instantly.

When I found the phone not reacting to any action, the charging LED was orange. 
It stayed orange till I put the battery out, even after some minutes. When I 
put the battery back in and connected via USB to the PC, it instantly switched 
from orange to green. Logs directly after starting (back at homescreen).

that increased from 33C to 40C!

When playing back AVI files using MoboPlayer (V1.2.155 Universal) the play back 
just stops as if you had pressed stop, except it forgets where it got up to so 
it looks like an abnormal exit. The point where it stops seems random and not 
repeatable.  CPU temperature seems OK (as measured by hand inside case - ie 
just warm).

The app continues to run in the browser/video selection screen after the stops 
and there are no FCs.

Problem did NOT occur on Stock HTC rom.

Not sure whether this is a MoboPlayer or InsertCoin or Kernel or combination 
issue .

Using InsertCoin 2.2.5SSE with 0.4 then updated to 0.5.
Note: haven't had any other problems with the rom combo.

Using bricked 1.45 and 1.50 IC 3.41

Error log from system tuner pro.  (hopefully it stays attached this time...) 

Wondering if this log points to a kernel issue. Sorry I am not sure which 
kernel version I was running at the time of the log as I have been switching 
back and forth between the two. Also out on the road for a few days, so can't 
do a kernel log dump of crashes.

I'm not quite sure whether you'll be able to reproduce this. I discovered this 
issue accidentally because my K-9 Mail installation was somehow corrupted 
(maybe Titanium backup did something wrong). What I did was this:

1. Make sure, the Gallery app (HTC Sense) is set as default for opening image 
files
2. Open K-9 mail and locate a mail with image attachments
3. Click on "Open" to open the attachment directly

Since K-9 mail did not work correctly, the Gallery was not able to open the 
image (I don't know why, maybe wrong path or corrupt image data). But instead 
of showing an error message, the Gallery app and often the whole system froze.

I thought this were an error with K-9 or the Gallery app, but then I went back 
to Bricked v0.7 and the Gallery app now showed a warning sign instead of 
freezing.

Since reinstalling K-9 mail resolved the last issue, I can't provide you with a 
reliable way for reproducing this issue.

I'm using the phone with this ROM/Kernel combo since 0.91 is out. I had no 
problems at all - till today. During the day I discovered some touchscreen 
problems, it was not as responsive as it should be, at one point I couldn't 
slide through the homescreens or in apps, it was completly NOT possible. Made a 
hot reboot - worked again.

Some minutes ago I installed an update for BusyBox via market, layed the phone 
down, screen switched off. Wanted to put screen back on via power button - 
nothing happened. Couldn't do anything, also putting it on USB attached to the 
laptop made no effect, charging LED didn't switch on and the laptop didn't find 
the phone. Pulled the battery out...

When the phone was restarted, I discovered the very unresponsive touchscreen 
again, after some time the phone freezed completly, with screen on. But it was 
still connected via USB, so I made uname.log and last_kmsg.log, then I had to 
pull the battery out. When the phone was back on homescreen, I made uname2.log 
and last_kmsg2.log.

Maybe you can find something in those files. Would be great... I didn't have 
such problems EVER :(

1. Problem is difficult to reproduce reliably, but it usually involves trying 
to power the screen off (or trying to exit back to the home screen) while in 
the camera app after having taken at least one picture.
2. Just a theory, but it could also be related to switching orientation, or 
trying to exit too quickly while playing a video in youtube. Symptoms for that 
hang are very similar as well.

Usually just a complete hang of the display, although buttons respond with 
vibration but the screen will not update. Using the power button to turn off/on 
results in a black screen until the device is restarted manually.

take around 3 seconds for the browser window to rotate into new orientation.

Suspected that it might have been a Rom problem, so installed stock kernel and 
screen location lag was gone. Also tried bricked v 1.4r1 with no problems 
either.

just a neat little tool for battery freaks like myself.  I know it wasnt

Expect to see Quadrant run.  Screen hangs instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.35 test.  Stock cam.  No cam fix applied.  ROM is Energy Oct-18.
