No Locations Found for Selected Project

Pretty much for whatever username I input, I keep getting "No locations found for selected project." Don't know if its the program that's glitching or its something I am doing wrong.

"Error while accessing http://twitpic.com/... .The problem was : Error trying to download photo" on a valid URL

The following is the response after a query. The URLs it is sending back as unable to download seem to be fine when copying and pasting them into a browser. I am using Version 0.1.94 on Windows XP.

Authorizing in Twitter

I can't get it to do anything, clicking "Authorize Creepy" does not bring up browser or interact with Twitter in any way.

Terminal shows this:

Twitter Authorize issue

I have downloaded creepy to my Windows 7 machine. When I am searching for a person without a user name i get an error that says I have to authorize. I go to the settings tab and hit authorize. Nothing happens. Is there supposed to be a pin in the box that says pin? I made no changes to the creepy.conf file located in my User directory. I then tried to search via a twitter name. The program said it was able to locate a certain number of tweets but could not pull the geodata from it. Why?

Cree.py timing out when connecting to Twitter.

Cree.py only works for Flickr accounts, I have tried multiple things to fix it. I have tried making sure my authorization for Twitter is correct, a VM running Ubuntu. Cree.py pops up a lightbulb and the retrieving of tweets stops.. I.E. 48 tweets have been retrieved out of a total of 69.

Twitter Plugin Not Working

Hi,

I'm using Creepy v 1.0.1 on WinXP.. When i try and run the Twitter Plug-in config wiz it returns the config for Flickr every time...

Many Thanks,

Error

Assistance please.

I bought a new computer with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

When I install Cree.py, I get the following error at the end of the installation.

Error parsing configuration file: 'cons_string'

It loads, but all I get is searching locations.

Also when I click on Edit and go to Settings, it has a Authorize Creepy button
and there is a block to enter a PIN#.

Please advise.

I used this with Windows XP and never encountered a issue.

Thank you,

Darryl

twitter :(

Hi !!

for the windows v .. still there is a bug for twitter plugin ):

what i'm asking about :

what if! that you can give us the web page link for the Plugin and give us a way to do it manually to input something in the 2 access token ..

I know that I'm saying bla bla bla hhh but plz! help us ASAP

I can't authorize/I dont know how to

What steps do I need to take to authorize Creepy?

I have the program installed and running, but no matter what user I search, Creepy returns 0 location results. It finds tweets, but no locations.

When I press the "authorize" under the twitter tab in settings, nothing happens. I press the button, and nothing happens at all.

What is the pin I'm supposed to enter, and where do I find one? I could not find any reference to this pin in any of the readme's or installation txts. I think in one of these posts the creator mentioned a "log in with twitter" option. DOes that exist, and if so where is it?

No pulling location data from Twitter

I have tested several accounts that I know to contain geolocation data - unfortunately, the analyze always results in no location found. "We could not find any locations for the analyzed project".

I'm not sure how to send a log file - but I'd like to figure out what the issue is. had no issues configuring the plugins.

Creepy problem

Hey so I was trying to trace this twitter account that's been bullying me and I put in their username in the top part and hit geolocate or whatever and it always comes up with nothing. Then I put it in the lower part and it says that only authenticated users can search other users. Check your settings.
Please help me figure out how to work this :( hahah

Too many Twitter API calls?

Running it on Ubuntu 10.10 and get this error:

Could it be related to the fact that I run Gwibber too?

Twitter error response: status code = 502

Win version @ Win 7 Home edition,

Hi John,
Really cool app. (Eisai arhigos!!) I am not a computer expert, so please handle gently.

Sometimes, when attempting to geolocate a twitter account, after few secs of "This can take a while, please hold ... ", the following message appears: "Error while accessing twitter .The problem was : Twitter error response: status code = 502".
The same can happen in the middle of a search process (i.e. when already some logs appear in the table) Is this a Twitter problem, or a bug?

Here are some suggestions from my "marketing" perspective:

Also when when the search outcome appears i.e. "83 tweets have been retrieved out of a total of 156". there are times that there is nothing written in the results table. I do assume that this is because the specific user has no location information. In a later version you can produce an output in the table saying exactly that.

Find a way to associate map pins with log outputs, can be numbers on pin & the table, can be highlighting and pin color change, you name it.

Can I have access to the specific tweet when I double click a log entry?

Thanks!!
