Kvant/Spray v2

Spray is a GPU accelerated object instancing/particle animation system for Unity.

Spray is part of the Kvant effect suite. Please see the GitHub repositories for further information about the suite.

System Requirements

Unity 5.1 or later versions.

Kvant effects require floating-point HDR textures to store animation state. Most of mobile devices don't fulfill this requirement at the moment.

No Backward Compatibility

This version (v2) is not compatible with the previous versions. You can't simply upgrade the previous implementation or use two different versions in the same project. Sorry for the inconvenience!

kvantspray's Issues

Spray & Reaktor

I would like to use Spray with Reaktor, is there a way out of the box (without good skills for hacking yourself)?
Thanks!

particle created event

I want to send an osc message every time a particle is created but it i cant figure out where to put my code. I presume because the particles are generated within the buffer and shader?

Could you possibly explain where each particle gets created within your code? Sorry as you can probalby tell I only have a basic understanding of your code.

Thanks

Keith

Missing Attribute ColorUsage

Assets/Kvant/Spray/Spray.cs(57,10): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `ColorUsage' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?

It compiles and runs fine without it. It's awesome!

build to iOS not work

I tried to run on iphone, but just get a initial Unity 3d screen only, not see any particles

What I'm wrong?

Sprite particles?

Hello and thank you for this great project - is it possible to draw billboard sprite particles (camera facing) with KvantSpray ?

mesh.Optimize() obsolete

Hi Keijiro,
In Unity 2017.1 mesh.Optimize() function in BulkMesh.cs return error because this method is no longer supported (UnityUpgradable). Please help me fix it.
Thanks.
