MPM should check the Mathematica version and abort if it is not compatible (too early).

There should be a goal set for earlier supported M version.

Personally, I would prefer 10.0.

Note: "RawJSON" is not available in 10.0, but rules can be converted into associations for easy processing. My preferred way is the Replace here.

Currently MPMInstall will get the latest stable release. It does not get draft releases or prereleases.

There should be a way to get the latest non-draft release, even if it is a prerelease.

There are two relevant boolean flags, 'draft' and 'prerelease'

I do not know if the releases are returned with the latest first. The documentation does not mention this, so we should not rely on it.
