Realtime empirical mode decomposition implementation and Max/MSP object. The empirical mode decomposition algorithm is meant to break a signal into its "intrinsic mode functions": signals that are independent from each other. This shares some of the spirit of a Fourier transform in that it is separating a signal into its components, but unlike the Fourier transform it does not use such a readily identifiable feature such as pitch adjacency for identifying components.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. gcc -o emd EmpiricalModeDecomposition.c

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.3.2/../../../../lib/crt1.o: In function

(.text+0x20): undefined reference to `main'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Linux debian 64bits

Hello!

I happen to be doing research on using EMD with either pure data, python and/or max msp and found your project online. I just saw that it is compiled for PC, would you have binary for osx? before I start trying to create an xcode project and all that?
