memapp's Issues

Experimental Features

Greetings,

After installing R4.2.2, devtools and memapp packages, Rtools, and running the below lines of code, I still do not have the experimental features showing in the memapp:

install the memapp package

install.packages("memapp")

check if devtools is installed, and install it otherwise

if(!require("devtools")) install.packages("devtools")
library("devtools")

install the memapp development version from GitHub

install_github("lozalojo/memapp")
So I am having
R version 4.2.2 (2022-10-31 ucrt)/x86_64-w64-mingw32, memapp 2.15, mem 2.17 - code under GPLv2 at

cannot reproduce goodness indicators

The Se, Sp, PPV, NPV in the goodness>indicators section do not match those that I manually calculated according to the procedures outlined in the technical manual. Perhaps there is a bug somewhere? If not, is there further documentation on how the goodness indicators are calculated

Parameter strictness

Hi,

I was wondering whether the mem package could be used to measure epidemic intensity for parameters other than ILI (i.e., acute respiratory infection presentations per 100,000) instead? Is the model strict on the use of ILI?

I have tried with 5 seasons of ARI data but have the (attached) issue of the baseline threshold being higher than the medium intensity threshold.

Any guidance would be appreciated!
