bookmarker's Issues

Sort error

Hi
I'm running this tool on a current Chrome bookmark file but I'm getting the following error:
(KeyError) key :sort not found in: %{"children" =>
(and then it quotes the json from the bookmarks file).
I'm attaching the bookmarks file that I'm running the tool on.
tw-bookmarks.txt

OSX config

This little script is great but I had to change the config file path to the correct location the bookmarks are stored on OSX / mac.

It might be useful to add this detail in the readme

for mac the location was ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Bookmarks
and I had to rebuild the escript after making the config file edit for it to work.

Usage is not clear from Readme

Found this project through Hacktoberfest and would like to contribute, but it took me a while to figure out how to run this. I have never seen an escript application before, so this might be completely obvious to anyone else, but it might be nice to add this to the usage section of the readme.

Default path is incorrect on windows 11

Request to Add Contribution Guideline Document

We should add a new document to the repository's root directory, named CONTRIBUTING.md, that will outline the contribution process and provide information on how to get involved with our project. This document should cover:

How to Contribute: Describe the steps for contributing to the project, including the process of forking the repository, creating branches, and submitting pull requests.

  • Code of Conduct: Reference our project's code of conduct, if applicable, and specify the expected behavior from contributors.

  • Coding Standards: If we have specific coding standards or practices, these should be outlined in the guideline.

  • Issue Reporting: Explain how to report bugs or suggest new features, including template guidelines.

  • Code Review Process: Detail the process of how code reviews are conducted, who conducts them, and what criteria are evaluated.

  • Testing Guidelines: Describe how to test changes and what testing tools are required.

  • Pull Request Submission: Provide instructions on how to submit a pull request and what should be included in the PR description.

Is there it for Firefox?
