I feel adding that feature to slop would be unnecessary. Already you can just cancel the selection and try again until you get it pixel perfect.
It wouldn't hurt to at least have the feature though, I'm just too busy to add it myself.

Should be fixed well enough with 6285e51. You can adjust the beginning and end point of the rectangle via arrow keys and mouse which should be enough to solve this problem.
