seeing fill issues on some coastlines

Starting with Mike Bostock's original code from here, I modified line 115 to draw in the mapzen's water layer, instead of the roads layer.

The result is like this - see Brooklyn and Staten Island coastline.

Similar issues emerge elsewhere in the country, e.g. San Francisco Bay between SF, Marin and Oakland looks like this:

After upgrade to iOS 10, whole window now shifts when panning with touch interface. Same effect in Mobile Safari and Chrome.

hi all
the index.html of this demo series is throwing quite a few nan value errors in the projection in chrome (in the thousands at higher zoom levels). zoomed-out, the browser sometimes crashes.

i haven't tested across devices but hoping you can clarify.
