Feature Request: Retain Audio File about whisper-obsidian-plugin

Adding to this, it might be nice to be able to transcribe an existing recording as well - which would enable this workflow.

Yes, I agree with all of this. If it saved the recorded audio and had the option to transcribe existing audio files would make this perfect!

Yes it would be really useful as a back-up, in case of many problems there is no track of the recording

Yes I have been looking for that feature as well! It would be great to have the audio file saved to the vault and linked to the transcription. I could then listen to my own voice reading it out loud. Currently this is just lost, although I put in the effort.

Yes! Retaining recordings and transcribing existing recordings is what this plugin misses the most. (Especially that the other Scribe-based plugin apparently charges by several orders of magnitude more money than OpenAI itself does) It would also be an excellent failsafe for when Whisper returns an error instead of the transcription.

It would be so great to have an update on this topic. :) I'm sitting on hundreds of notes just waiting for this feature to get started.

I test the plugin and stop using it after a day because the recording where lost. Really a big improvment if done ! thanks
