A very useful software. My macbook is connected to the second screen. After I finished recording the GIF on the second screen, I clicked on the GIF to view it. It was actually the recorded main screen. What's going on.

have a options to generate endless loop gif?

sometimes, we need endless loop gif.

But the GifCapture only generate the gif which loop = 1

I have to use another tool to transform it to endless loop

Cannot open the app

Hey I cannot open the app, when I try to do it, I get this window from macOS saying the developer cannot be verified.

cannot install with brew cask

mac:~ pro$ brew cask install gifcapture
Error: No available Cask for gifcapture
Error: nothing to install

recording window float on all desktops

I would like to know if it is possible to make recording window float on all desktops

Smaller GIF

Is there any way to compromise gif quality to get smaller GIF generated

Can't start recording

GifCapture Version: 1.1.0 (1) [latest GitHub release]
OS: macOS Catalina 10.15.4

I downloaded GifCapture, which looks promising (a simple screen to GIF recorder), however whenever I click "Record", click File>>Record, or use the hotkey (cmd+R), nothing happens.

This is using the latest release on GitHub. The same issue occurs when installing from Homebrew.

Support Caskroom

Older MacOS Support

Can support for older releases of macOS (10.11 specifically) be added in a future release?
