documentation's Issues

Search with Space

How can I search for something containing a space?
For example if I've got a Notbook called "This notebook"
b.This notebook
doesn't work.

How to set up links to synced files

I'm going to explain a bit of background to my issue to avoid an X Y Problem.

I use WebDAV to sync my org files. I would like to also sync other files like images, which I've been able to do quite easily. Here is the structure of my org directory:

├── agenda.org
├── archive.org
├── notes.org
├── projects.org
└── res
    └── 2023-07-15_cinema_ticket.png

Now lets have a look at the entry that links to res/2023-07-15_cinema_ticket.png:

** Cinema: /Cade: The Tortured Crossing/
<2023-07-15 Sat 20:30>
[[file:res/2023-07-15_cinema_ticket.png][ticket]]

This link works on Emacs as expected, but does not work on Orgzly. This is because the root for relative links setting is set to /storage/emulated/0 which is not where my org files are...

So I just need to change that setting to where my org files are stored on my phone, right? This is the issue I'm having. I can't for the life of me find where they're stored. I've found Internal/Android/data/com.orgzly but the org files are not there.

Where are synced org files stored on my phone?

How do you create reminders?

The changelog indicates that it is possible to get reminder notifications but adding a scheduled time was not enough. I can't find an explanation of how to make them work.

TODO states must be specified in setting to be used in search

The documentation doesn't mention this, but it seems that searching by state (e.g. i.todo) doesn't support states containing dashes. For example, I have todo's with the state IN-PROGRESS, but creating a search i.in-progress does not pull up any results.

It turns out that if you add 'IN-PROGRESS' to the list under 'Settings -> Notes -> States', then the search i.in-progress works as expected. I left my original note above for posterity, but maybe the documentation could mention this?

Thanks for making the best mobile org-viewer out there!

paste only works once, no copy

On the outline display, I can paste a heading I've cut one time, and the next time I use the paste button, the paste doesn't happen and I see a "nothing to paste" message on the bottom. In emacs org-mode, I frequently paste several copies of the same headline so it would be nice to be able to do that here as well.

Also, there's no copy icon. This is another thing that makes it impossible to copy things more than once (you must delete a headline first in order to get it into the paste buffer).
