Overview

This open-source program uses Python to scrape data from Facebook Marketplace. The program uses Playwright to navigate the Facebook Marketplace website and BeautifulSoup to parse the HTML and extract relevant data. It then displays the results in a Streamlit GUI.

Unable to login

Hi there,

Thank you for this great work.

I run the code on EC2 but I always get the same error message "You must log in to continue.Log Into Facebook" on my terminal.

Do you have any ideas on how I can fix the issue?

Getting blocked

I would imagine your account gets blocked very quickly as soon as you strat scraping. Isn't that the case?

login to view the content

when code is running it open chrom window asking me to login in to show the content and did not print out any thing so how to pypass that from the code

CSS selectors outdated

I believe facebook has changed their website a little. I think the more efficient scraper to use is playwright but i have the updated selectors here somewhere. Trying to make a pull request
