reimaginedreadme's Issues

Drag & Drop Component Designer

React DND or other drag and drop libraries are either not supported anymore and deprecated or are difficult to use. I will need to design my own version for future use in component design.

Better User Welcome

The current user welcome is too basic. I believe making it so that the text is on the left adding something like the bio of the person , including their profile picture on the right would be a great addition that would polish the current implementation.

Project Deprecation

Starting immediately, the reimaginedreadme project will undergo deprecation following the resolution of any outstanding issues that have not had progress, unmerged pull requests, and general cleanup. Subsequently, the service will be scheduled for shutdown within one month. Additionally, a deprecation notice will be prominently displayed on all embeds prior to the shutdown. Once the shutdown is complete, access to the address will be unavailable as the Vercel instance powering the service will be deactivated.

Image Support

Support images through Base64 for cases like pfp's favicons.

Issue Count not updating

The issues count does not update for some reason..
Maybe it's an error in the source or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Could anyone explain?

Tiling Manager

There needs to be a svg tiling manager to arrange the panel components accordingly to the container.

Python logo missing?

Seems like the <g> that's meant to contain the icon is just empty in the inspector

Thanks for making this btw, it looks really cool!

Icons missing for R and Svelte

Hi there - thank you for this awesome project!

I wanted to flag that it looks like there might be an issue with a few of the devicons - I noticed it for R and Svelte on my page (see attached screenshot):

Thanks!

Customisable Themes

Could there be more themes/color addition?
The default white-yellow one is great but it doesn't blend well with dark mode or with the other widgets out there.

It'd be great if we could customise it a bit.

My eyes beg you to add dark theme.

[suggestion]

My eyes hate reimaginedreadme because its so bright compared to a dark mode README. Please add dark mode as a URL parameter. Me and my poor eyes beg you.

WakaTime

Moved WakaTime idea from #5 to its individual issue for tracking and idea updates.
