Thank you for this detailed reproduction. This sounds entirely reasonable.

My guess is that typedoc has had a breaking change with regards to entrypoints in a "recent" release.

That might be the case.

I also read up on some typedoc documentation since it is fairly new to me and found if I add the following code to tsconfig.json that the npx projen docgen command works. I still get some warnings but the commands executes successfully.

    "entryPointStrategy": "expand",
    "out": "docs"
  },

npx projen build does not work as it regenerates the tsconfig.json file.
