Thank you for your report. However, our team thinks that your description is a bit vague. We will be assuming that you are referring to using the edit command for tags. It is true that the edit function will override the existing tags, however, that is how an edit function works. Let's imagine for another field such as GPA, editing the GPA would override the current GPA, and will not add to the current GPA, and this logic applies to editing the tags.

The add tag function exists when you add a person initially. However, it is indeed true that we do not have a singular add tag function, but we believe that it is not in the scope for our project to implement such a command, since it is already possible to do so using edit. We also believe that this out of scope issue is a separate issue from the above issue of edit overriding tags.

Reason for disagreement: The TA selection process is not a static one - it occurs over long periods and is usually quite well thought out. Furthermore, professors often keep recording of their TAs in case they apply again or need to find TAs in the future. As such, I see it as highly necessary to be able to add a tag as and when needed. The current implementation would have me tediously delete the user in order to add another tag which is highly insufficient.
