The code is still in flux and the API is getting slowly fleshed out, please refer to the sub-crates. Until we reach version 1.0 assume that the API could change a lot.

Developing

I suggest to use the cargo paths override to have a local rust-av:

# Clone the trees
$ git clone https://github.com/rust-av/rust-av
$ git clone https://github.com/rust-av/${other package}
# Setup the override
$ cd ${other package}
$ mkdir .cargo
$ echo 'paths=["../rust-av"]' > .cargo/config
# Check it is doing the right thing
$ cargo build

flavors's Issues

is timestamp wrong?

Hi , I use this lib to parse flv file and find that the timestamp in tag header is always 0.
After change code from :
timestamp: (timestamp_extended as u32) << (24 + timestamp),
to :
timestamp: (u32::from(timestamp_extended) << 24) + timestamp,

it works.

Parsing ScriptData fails completely if one element fails

Currently when we're parsing a ScriptData, a single broken or unknown element makes the whole ScriptData parsing fail. It would seem nicer if parsing could at least return everything that parsed successfully up to that point, or even better in cases where that is possible replaces broken elements with some kind of Broken marker and continue parsing.
