sleek--themes's Issues

why is it so small?

Sup! i am new to modding grub, and...
image
yeah, its too small
my screen is 1680 x 1050, is there a way i can change it?

Increase Title Size

I like your concept and I loved it, but I was thinking to increase the font size of the title

message-font: "DejaVu Sans Regular 14"
message-color: "#FFFFFF"
terminal-font: "Terminus Regular 14"
terminal-box: "terminal_*.png"

but I couldn't found a way to change it.

Not applying

sorry to hear that but install.sh only changes grub configuration, it doesn't make any other changes.
my distro is kali linux.

bug: bigSur theme label not showing

in bigSur theme, when in the boot menu there is label for selecting the os, select your preferred os.

But it doesn't show the label because of typo in font name.

  • fix typo in bigSur theme theme.txt file

Poor font rendering

The fonts render jaggedly. I tried increasing Grub's resolution and confirmed that the resolution is correct, but the fonts are still rendering poorly.

  • OS: Debian 11
  • Sleek (dark) 2.0 (from Ping)

How to change OS icon?

How do I change the icon that displays beside each OS in the Grub menu?

I have Kubuntu installed but it displays the Ubuntu logo beside the menu item instead of the Kubuntu logo.

bug: grub.cfg file issue with Fedora >33 workstation

As specified in the fedora docs, the file /boot/efi/EFI/fedora/grub.cfg should not be touched in versions of fedora greater than 33.

In the newer version it's better to use grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

I have forked the repo and tried the new changes it on my fedora 39 workstation and it works fine, I can make the PR for further review.

2K and 4K version

Hi, this themes are amazing
unfortunaly, on my Lenovo legon 5 Pro (screen: QHD (2560 x 1600)), is possible see a very little stretch...

If could be possible recalculate dynamicaly the size, or make a choise to the most appropriate resolution, this will be fantastic

Thanks agane for your hard work
