SciML is an open source software organization created to unify the packages for scientific machine learning. This includes the development of modular scientific simulation support software, such as differential equation solvers, along with the methodologies for inverse problems and automated model discovery. By providing a diverse set of tools with a common interface, we provide a modular, easily-extendable, and highly performant ecosystem for handling a wide variety of scientific simulations.

This website is for showcasing the packages in the SciML organization and highlighting the news in the ecosystem. Pull requests are welcome!

Typo

It seems to me that the sentence "These tools help JuliaDiffEq not only be the easiest ecosystem to use, but also the easiest ecosystem for developers to target" in the front page does not makes sense, I think "help " should be replaced by "make" or something similar.

Two links on the front page (https://sciml.ai/#:~:text=Physics%2DInformed%20Model%20Discovery) are broken.
I don't know where they were supposed to go:

Older post titles missing on /news page

On sciml.ai/news, posts from before 2020 show "nothing" as a title.

Add contributing section

None of the SciML repos I checked had a contributing guide so we should make one here, and then add it to the .github repo in this org so folks know how to contribute if they are interested.

Glitch in blog grid

That's likely a glitch in one of the functions in utils.jl where a nothing is printed.

Add a footer?

There's currently no footer in your layout e.g. on the front page:

even if you decide to leave it blank you might want to

1. add a hrule there to indicate end of page
2. add some space

possibly if you were to add one you might want to add a contact section or something like it

Modern look to the SciML website

@ChrisRackauckas As our current website has been developed using the Jekyll theme. So to get a modern look I will use React and GraphQL. Before making the changes I am working on the design. If this sounds good then tell me :)

We're snazzy people. It's not snazzy enough. Some potential ideas:

Add a 404

A file like this one: https://github.com/JuliaLang/www.julialang.org/blob/master/404.md would do

(otherwise the default github 404 will be used, it's not a catastrophe but not pretty)

Website formatting

@logankilpatrick the new homepage is fantastic! Though there seem to be some formatting issues:

• Logo's a little small on the left
• The navbar has a ton on one line and few on the other
• There's lots of vertical spacing between the elements below
• Centering the sponsors might look better
• About (coming soon) Can probably be deleted.

Too much whitespace

Can we use a smaller font, and reduce the whitespace on the whole site? It takes a lot of scrolling.

Add topics to the repo

For discoverability, it could be good to add topics to this repo?

Also it would be great if you added #franklin as it helps users who want to see example websites :) thanks!
