Installation

Copy the BlueForest.xml file into the /colors directory underneath your IDEA installation folder (or the user profile IntelliJ folder, depending on your OS). If you are on OSX/linux or using cygwin on Windows, you can also clone this git repository into a directory of your choice and use the deploy.sh script to install BlueForest and the update.sh script to copy back changes you made in IDEA.

After you have installed the color scheme restart IDEA and select BlueForest in Preferences/Editor/Colors&Fonts.

blueforest's Issues

loading blueForest xml to intelijIdea fails for XML syntax issues

blueforest xml issue
Hi,

i have copied blueForest.xml to my config/colors directory (working on windows) and when trying to run intelijIdea ,i get an error message saying that a "meta" end tag is missing or "link" end tag is missing etc...

is this a known issue ?
is there an updated version ?
maybe something i did wrong ? :(
the scheme looks really good and i'd love to use it :)

Thanks
Sivan

No Clojure version

I love BlueForest. Thanks for creating it. I currently use it for Scala and Java. Will look into creating a BlueForest Clojure implementation when I get the chance.

This doesnot work

Hi,
I have installed IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate
IntelliJ IDEA 2017.1.5
Build #IU-171.4694.70, built on July 4, 2017
JRE: 1.8.0_112-release-736-b21 amd64
JVM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o
Windows 10 10.0

Have created C:\Users\pravin.t.IntelliJIdea2017.1\config\colors and copied BlueForest.icls as well as BlueForext.xml one by one and tried, however I donot see blueForest option in Preferences/Editor/Colors&Fonts.

Please advice, if there is another way of doing this. I really really needs scala theme for spark code.

Thanks,
PT

Cannot read scheme BlueForest.xml

Hi,
I couldn't configure xml after putting it to config/colors/ in IDEA 12.1.6.
I get the following error :

Error on line 28 : Attribute name 'data-pjax-transient' associated with an element type "meta" must be followed by "=".

commit message dialog text color

I use this color scheme and i must admit i love it like none other. I am in IJ 14.x CE using mostly for Java/Scala and use IntelliJ theme though i am Win 7 box.

However the issue i face is with the 'Commit Changes' dialog. The 'Commit Message' text area does not display what i type. I guess both background and foreground color is set to white. I can however see the text i highlight it using Ctrl+A in the text area.

If i change the theme to Windows, the above text area get black background and white text which is fine but i hate the font and others in Windows theme. Can you help?

Install on Version 14?

Doesn't seem to be a colors folder anymore on the OS X version, so not sure how to install it. Any help would be appreciated!
