As discussed in the discord thread as well, this modification seems to resolve the issue:

template<typename It, typename... Args>
void insert(It first, It last, Args &&... args) {
    const auto sz = underlying_type::size();
    underlying_type::insert(first, last, std::forward<Args>(args)...);

    if (auto &reg = owner_or_assert(); !construction.empty()) {
        for (auto count = underlying_type::size(); count != sz; --count) {
            construction.publish(reg, underlying_type::operator[](count - 1));
        }
    }
}
