This may be difficult, but it will be better.
Or, we can wait the https://wiki.mozilla.org/WebExtensions.
Users may forget the base has been modified, and get a strange results.
For a custom base, it can be marked as C.
We try to focus "window.content" when closing the calculator (see here) which is undefined in e10s.
Obviously only an minor issue but should be fixed if possible.
When pressing the enter key to show the result the menu containing the calculator hides and so we cannot get the result.
OS:windows 10
Firefox:40.0.3
calculator :5.3.6.1-signed
I can see the tool bar icon but it stopped expand when I click on calc icon. It occurs some versions ago, now I'm using ff 45.0.2.
i would like to use % as percent operator but each time i use it i get invalid expression and it is not possible to define it as operator.... using ff 56.02 64bit Scientific Calculator 5.4.1
The project needs some documentation.
At the very least something minimal like a list of available shortcuts that are hard (if not impossible) to discover otherwise for users should be available.
I've been using Pale Moon browser for a while, and have found it to be a nice fork from Firefox but it deosn't support all add-ons that I want (such as RoboForm) but it does support Scientific Calculator.
I only just discovered Waterfox, which I've found does support RoboForm and other must-have add-ons such a Tab Mix Plus. But for some reason although Scientific Calculator seems to install properly I cannot get it to be present in a toolbar so cannot use it. Any idea why not? Why would it work in the one pre-57 Firefox fork but not the other one?
Any ideas about tweaks to to try in Waterfox that might make it work?
First of all thanks for the Scientific Calculator addon. I've been using it for years and really like it.
Do you have any plans to migrate it to WebExtension APIs?
