We'll do english in a separate one, see #34

for some reason, the event URL is missing in the souce code.

are there any files missing in the rep? or maybe the README needs to explain how to fill in the missing data.

Use the opendata json file which is available

In particular the favorites one, e.g. when on this screen go to detail, unfavorite and click the back button, we should reload the screen - or remove the entry from that list.

The idea is to explain what kind of features are available on the app and switching between those and funny quotes.

People miss the initial installation.

Not sure whether we'll get there for release though

1 : on home screen : link the #gf13 hash to this search on twitter
2 : on detail page of an event : add "share buttons" that add a predefined message to your twitter / facebook status update like "Op de Gentse feesten. {{xyz}} aan het uitchecken. Wijs maat ! #gf13 "

When changing the selection of categories or locations (in settings), the overview "Komende activiteiten" is not refreshed. (It does refreshes after restarting the app).

Need to check with Tim whether the external id in the service is the actual Node ID

When limiting to a category (via settings), the interface first asks to limit to a certain date, and after that you can limit on category.

This is weird behaviour, and made me think twice that I had chosen a wrong option ("No, i do not wat to limit on date, I want to limit on category").

I propose:

• first you show the categories/locations to chose from
• Second you give to option to limit to a certain date. Limiting to a certain data should be optional ("All dates" should be included)

(The same behaviour happens when selecting a location)

This should speed up the download immensively

We can probably use the 'uid' when this becomes available.

When reading through the details of an event, it wold be usefull if it also contained the categorie of the event. This gives some useful info, and this data is available in the offline data anyway.

Something we can put on the homescreen phones/tablets

Since we have the ability to switch easily, we should be able to add switch between day/category/location instead of day/type only.

This is on the facet results page, so you don't get the dialog popup.

It is currently no possible to move the application (248 KB + 2.45MB data) to SD Card. This limits the usage for low-end smart phones.

This makes the menu available all the time - or at least make table browsing even nicer (read bigger fonts and rows)

Sweeping back when you are on a detail page would be nice.
Or on the facet page to quickly go from day to day.

This is now hardcoded to 30, let's make it 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100

This causes out of memory crashes on old phones, critical to rewrite that part to an inputstream reader - again ;)

With cool sentences to use at 'de fieste'

Then add the english version, because it's 'less' nice in english.

To reproduce:

• Click on menu
• Hit settings
• Click 'Publieke toiletten'

And in the meantime, rename 'database' to 'Program'

This is a huge usability bug as people miss this easily.

We can't rely though on the multiple preference if we want to support Android 2.1 as this is only available from 3 on.
