Unipept

The Unipept web application supports biodiversity and functional analysis of large and complex metaproteome samples and the analysis of peptidomes.

The 4.0 release of Unipept brings functional analysis to the tool.

An API and command line tool are available for integration in other programs.

Installation

This application is deployed and fully functional at unipept.ugent.be. If for some reason you wish to run your own instance, you can do so by deploying this rails application and setting up a database. This isn't straightforward and you'll probably want some help, so contact us at [email protected] before you attempt an installation.

unipept-web's Issues

Strip `v` prefix from web app version identifier on ReleaseOverviewCard

In order to streamline the naming scheme we follow for all tags and releases, I updated the tag names for the Unipept Web Application to vx.x.x (instead of x.x.x). This causes the v to be included when we display the most recent version number of the web app on the homepage.

Add loading state to version info card on homepage

When the homepage is loaded, all of the text and images appear almost instantaneously. The info card on the right that displays the most recent version of each app, however, takes one or two seconds to load (which is fine), but we should show a little progress icon in that case.

Center buttons for analysis summary card

In the old web application, the buttons in the analysis summary card where aligned in the center. This is no longer the case for the new version and the web app:

Add Unipept favicon

Right now, the default Vue favicon is used when we deploy the web app. This needs to be replaced with the Unipept favicon.
