:books: A consistently maintained dump of most macOS Headers

macOS Headers

This repository is a class dump of most Apple Applications and Frameworks on macOS. This could be useful to someone for learning/reversing a program or writing a MacForge plugin. This can also be used to check what has been updated between macOS releases.

Included in this repository are dumps of binaries found in:

/Applications
/Applications/Utilities

/System/Applications
/System/Applications/Utilities

/System/Library/Frameworks
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks
/System/Library/CoreServices
/System/Library/CoreServices/Applications

/System/iOSSupport/System/Library/Frameworks
/System/iOSSupport/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks

The rundown of each folder is as follows:

• The log folder contains: Log files with a list of all items that had a different build number in that build.
• The macOS folder contains: All the header dumps organized by folder
• The tools folder contains: Bash scripts used to automate quickly dumping the system.

Would it be possible to update the repo with the latest dump ?

Repo flattening results in difficulty locating desired headers

What is the problem?

Unfortunately, sometime 5 months ago it appears the commit history was flattened in a way where there are no longer dates which can be used to determine the age of various headers to better anticipate which one is the most current.

I am not sure if anything can be done to address this, but it has limited the usability of this repo which I have been such a tremendous fan of.

"Frameworks/IOKit" is missing

`Frameworks` directory not updated for Big Sur

Your logs are showing updates to Frameworks, but they're not appearing in the repository.
Is there a reason for this?

Consider adding /System/Applications to dumped locations
