SPARQL query generator

This is a revival of a tool by Benestar that used to be hosted at https://tools.wmflabs.org/bene/sparql. That URL is currently down, so the project was copied here to revive the tool.

The tool is a simple web interface that helps with creating SPARQL queries for Wikidata by filling subject-predicate-object triples. An autocomplete dropdown feature is available to translate human-readable labels into Wikidata codes for items and properties.

The generated query can then be ran in the Wikidata Query Service.

Embed the query results right in the page

Using the <iframe> embedding option that the Wikidata Query Service makes available.

Empty fields result in bare `?` variables, which break the query

The fields should have validation to prevent form submission with empty fields.

Queries should have a default limit on the number of results returned

Currently there's no bound, which can make queries time-out.

Variables created with question mark break the query

If one manually adds a ? to the start of a variable name, it still gets prepended another ? when building the query, becoming ??variable, which then fails to execute.

Either the ? should not be added automatically if it is already present in the variable name, or the input box should disallow usage of ? (and possibly other invalid characters) and a tooltip shown to explain why.
