I just found out some issue about the uninstall script. The uninstall script is not working on the newpipe and youtube vanced music. It can uninstall every apk that you provided but it cannot uninstall newpipe and youtube vanced music.
Sorry I couldn't provide any output uninstall file here.

It appears that if I play Spotify while using Google Maps, the navigation voice will mute. I need to force stop Spotify for the voice to come back

Cannot sign in account for Google Maps. Even when I signed in account in settings, still won't sync here for the map

Who can assist me, please, with the following issue?

I want to change the name displayed on the car screen (see the screenhot), like I do with my iPhone Bluetooth connection, but I am not able to do it, so far.
The system won't let me change the name of the car!

I changed the Carlink Bluetooth device name, but nothing happened, I mean, the renamed Bluetooth is not being displayed.

Not sure this issue is specific to the script or it is Carplay's own issue.

When choosing YouTube Music on Carplay, go to Library --> Playlist = will only see "Liked Songs"

I have many playlists created in YouTube / YouTube Music, but they are not populated in the Playlist list

The workaround:

1. Play your preferred playlist on your YouTube Music app on your phone / YouTube Music web.
2. You will see your recent playlists under Recently Opened in the Carplay

I tried to determine which version of HUR is installed without success, I believe it's v5.2.

If I substitute the HUR V6.3 RC3 apk (renaming the apk) would it install or is additional work required?

Anything can be done if stuck at android optimize app? My IHU will reload after 25 of 54. Then reboot, and reload again at 40 something of 83. The thing is i use the script to delete bootanimation and tried to replace it with other video.

Need to install package update in LINKIT app everytime IHU start up.

Workaround:

1. Disconnect Carlinkit from IHU USB
2. Open LINKIT app, go to settings, scroll down until Update
3. Install update, will need to download package everytime.
4. The prompt will say installation failed, click Done
5. Connect Carlinkit device into IHU USB
6. Start LINKIT app again, now able to connect with iPhone for Carplay

Please look into this issue.

Performed the steps as per README.

After the IHU restarted, those new sideloaded apps didn't show up in the Dashboard.

Not sure if this is related to I'm using MacOS to unzip and copy the shell scripts and APKs folders.

Using the following OS to extract files:

• MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68)
• Formatted USB drive using MacOS built-in Disk Utility to FAT32 (Fastest mode option in security settings)
• 32GB USB Drive

My IHU is running ATLAS 617.

From the logs there's an error to run the MAIN intent (which I believe to just show the main screen, correct me if I'm wrong). Also the copies and permissions commands looks okay (no error output).

I don't have Windows machine right now to try on, and will do once I get my hands on one.

For PX50 Exec spec stuck after pressing SOC..the USB icon cannot be press...just black colour only..after that the MAC Address become N/A

My Atlas is running at 617. I sideloaded all the apps as per the instructions.

Everything works fine (Waze, Spotify, Google map) except Android Auto with Cable.

Once I on AA, my car location on waze doesn't move accordingly to a real live location. Sliding the app interface also need more than 3 seconds.

So I am new to this as I have already installed the ATLAS UI a long time ago however, recently found this and needed a try. Had taken a look on your previous attempt to install the other applications however found that the difference was the ES Explorer. So was just wondering if I need to include that in the installation steps as well?

Hi. My HU already upgraded to ATLAS ver 617 (FS). But before upgrading, I used previous script to sideload app into GKUI. Without uninstall the sideloaded app, I upgrade to ATLAS. But just now, I've tried this latest script. Nothing happened. Is this related to this notice you mentioned in readme?

If you installed apps with any method other than this Installation Script, please DO NOT PROCEED with this script. The Installation / Uninstallation script WILL NOT WORKS as it is not compatible.

Hi xeon, i want to address my current issue with android auto that comes with your scripts. Few solutions i tried like using expensive data cable and original samsung cable. Both gives the same results of crashing.

How can control the CarPlay music using steering. I tried change the audio channel to BT. But the music output was come out from my phone, not from car speaker.

Good day Xeon, I’ve done extracting the files and plugged it in the car.

After 5 minutes, the IHU stays at the same setting page after wireless charging page. Is there something missing that you can enlighten me. Thank you in advance.

CarPlay freezes after exit autokit and re-enter autokit app.

My IHU Atlas is still on unpatch firmware version. I plan on donating to https://ko-fi.com/xeon1989 if can become compatible on Atlas 581 version.

After finishing installing using the script. Just found that only auto kit and youtube premium were installed. Try to check the log file. But unreadable

Hi Chris, thanks for your effort to x50 community. Is there any optimization script or disable app script to made GKUI run even smoother? I prefer stick with GKUI but sometimes GKUI run a bit slower, too much useless default app.

@xeon1989 Hi Chris, currently it seems like despite the bluetooth is connected to the IHU, it's still required to "manually" trigger once for the Bluetooth Audio channel switching by manually opening the Media app. Is there any workaround or what kind of command we can send to trigger the audio channel switching automatically?

Can create the script for install and uninstall autokit only? Since autokit cannot normal update, if autokit have update version I can uninstall the old version and install the new version. Thanks

I try to uninstall custom app but the script seems not working. when usb plug in, nothing happened( not going to wireless charging screen). Do i need to edit and insert custom app name in the script? Thank you.

I managed to install the script but when i launch both Waze n Google Map, both unable to determine my location. Pls advice

• Uninstalled previous installation (old YouTube Premium)
• Disabled Proton default apps
• Lastly, Installed the latest installation script (with MicroG)

After the latest installation, I am encountering an issue which does not happen before. When Apple CarPlay auto-connected to the Autokit (Carlinkit) app, the app will show a blank black screen (able to navigate to other pages, but only the Autokit app shows a black screen).

However, it can be solved by re-inserting the Carlinkit device/disconnecting my phone and reconnecting the CarPlay, which is quite troublesome before driving.

Does anyone have a similar issue?

Hi xeon, I would like to thank you for providing your script to download apps on x50, However, when I'm in android auto my google assistant doesn't seem to work. It responds to my 'Hey Google' prompt, but it doesn't further respond to anything that I say afterwards. It just sort of hangs and closes. I use a Samsung s21 ultra with android 13

Hi, after inserting thumb drive with the script into usb port it doesn’t launch. I followed all script download instructions to the T. Current Atlas OS is V.617. There is a new update to V.644 but I did not update. Help needed please!!!! 🙏

I was wondering the new version of atlas can side load apps or not?
I know it can’t use the previous script but got different scripts or other ways to side load or not

Issue that I noticed that when first time opening the YouTube, it can make it full screen( as it enabled fit to screen option in settings). After clicked the three dots at top right corner, the screen exited and resolution of the current running video shrunk. Cannot make it back the video to fit to screen even thought in YouTube settings the option fit to screen still enabled. The only solution to make it full screen is need to clear data for YouTube in apps settings. By doing this it makes the YouTube to refresh new and can use it like first time. But when we off the x50 and restart back the YouTube video cannot make it to fit to screen.

So two things I noticed here.

1. each time when start X50 need to clear data of YouTube in apps settings to make it full screen.

2. After that do not accidentally click the three dots at top right corner in the YouTube video to open the quality settings (by clicking this 3 dots it exits from the YouTube and can’t make it fit to screen). Have to reset again from 1).
   Please look into this ya!!!
