You need below things to work Facebook Event Importing using API.

• Facebook app (Here is how to create FB app)
• Your site need to HTTPS (SSL certificate)
• You need to mark events as interested or going on facebook to get imported

import-facebook-events's Issues

Placehold cover image causing website page to show as Not Secure

If you don't upload a event photo, it appears blank on Facebook, but is imported as a placehold image into the website. I believe because the placehold.it website is http not https it is causing the parent website to show as Not Secure (SSL issue).

Define properties that are created dynamically or use the attribute #[AllowDynamicProperties]

When debugging, the logs are riddled with errors about:
PHP Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property Import_Facebook_Events::

I recommend updating your code before it becomes unusable in PHP 9
