gmail.vim's Issues

Idea: easier deleting of messages.

In the list window, the [delete] button is nice, but maybe you can dd as a shortcut to do the same thing. dd seems like a logical choice for that.

That way we can select messages with space bar, then just press dd to delete.

'c' should not be mapped when composing emails

I use cw a lot, and I'm sure a lot of other vim users use that mapping a lot. However, this is mapped to create a new email, so when I'm composing a new email, and I want to change a word to something else, it creates a new email and I lose everything.

I think c should only create a new message when the mailbox is selected, and any mapping modifications in the compose window should be kept to a minimum.

Thanks.

Mark message as unread.

Hi, maybe in the message window you can add a [mark unread] or [unread] button to mark the message unread.

<s-space> doesn't work in my xterm, so need alternate option.

doesn't work in xterm, so I can select and move up one line.

This means I have to select with , then press up two times, then select again, and repeat to go up.

Maybe you can add a simple option to turn off automatic movement (so selects, but doesn't move the cursor to next line)?

English doc

Hi, yuratomo. The plugin is nice, but lack of english doc.
Would you like translate it in english? Then more people could use it :D

Bug with the mailbox list.

Sometimes, when I click on a label (e.g. [Gmail]/All Mail) it won't update the message list buffer. It will remain the same as what was in the previous message list.

So, for example, if I click on [Gmail]/All Mail for the firs time, then it will update the message list buffer to show all mail. Then if I click on [Gmail]/Sent Mail, the message list buffer will show sent messages. Then if I click on [Gmail]/All Mail again, it will load, but when it's done loading, the message buffer will still show Sent Mail, not All Mail.

This happens with various labels. I haven't been able to isolate how to reproduce the bug. It seems random right now. I'll post if I figure out the exact steps to reproduce.
