galaxy-integration-ps2's Issues

Shrek 2 showing up twice

After setting everything up and integrating everything and somehow my copy of Shrek 2 is showing up twice and I can't remove it. No there isn't another iso of it in my directory or anything like that I just have the iso and only one copy of it on my whole computer

Option to do a full boot instead of a fast boot

Some games get their information like language from the bios of the ps2, if a fast boot is done, they don't get that information. The launch parameter for a full boot is --fullboot

An example of a game that needs this is Jak 2, as without a fullboot, it will not use english as the language by default.

Game's won't launch [Play button is grayed out]

image

As the title suggests, the play button is grayed out and I can't play any games through GOG 2.0.
The file locations and such are fine, I mean it shows that the game is there so I'm not quite sure how I would have caused this.

Plugin has crashed

i installed the plugin and set up everything, but it says that the plugin has crashed

PCSX2 not launching from Galaxy

I managed to make the plugin work (I see my ISOs in Galaxy) with the Giantbomb method, but when I press launch nothing happens except the button turns gray.
Below is my config file (without API key):
config.txt

Games still don't show up.

I did everything well, I'm sure! But the games still not show up. I don't know what is wrong. I installed a plugin on 2.0.3 and 2.0.4 client version, tried to set gamebomb and pcsx database, reinstalling, restarting, I used / not \ , names of games are the same in folder and database, paths are well too. I think I need help.

Game activity tracking not working.

Summary:

Games added to GOG Galaxy BETA via this integration do not show in the recent games subsection nor do they show any playtime on game specific pages.

Replication steps:

  • Launch PS2 game from GOG BETA client with this integration.
  • Play said game for a bit.
  • Exit said game by closing the PCSX2 window.
  • Navigate in the GOG Galaxy BETA client to the recent section or to the all games library with the last played filter active.
  • Note that the recently tested PS2 game is not present at front of the list as you'd expect.

Expected result:

Game activity as well as game time tracking to be reflected within the GOG galaxy BETA UI.

Additional info:

  • Windows 10 Enterprise N LTSC 1809
  • PCSX2 1.5.0-dev-3287-g6392f79fb
  • PS2 integration plugin 0.5.1
  • GOG Galaxy BETA 2.0.5

Games not showing up in the client.

I recently got into the Galaxy 2.0 beta, and tried out this plugin, it doesn't seem to work for me, as no games show up in my library even though I have the path pointed to the pcsx2 exe, and the folder where all my game iso's are. I also have the config.py with a giantbomb API key in it.

No ISOs Showing up in GOG. using Default Method.

I re-Named all of my ISOs to what is in the Gameindex file, and changed the folder name of the plugin to what the ReadMe said to do.

When connecting in the GoG app I copied the location using both / and \ with the games not showing up either way.

No ROMs showing up in GOG

Hi,

I am not seeing any of my ROMs load into GOG after linking everything. I am using Giantbomb API method and pointing to my ROM folder as well as my Emulator folder since they are not stored together. I do have a very complex name for my ROMs folder so wondering if an escape character is getting hit or something. Is there a log to see how the startup is when syncing?

Problem with the activity count

Hi, I'm new here and I have a problem.
the extension of ps2 works perfectly for me but the only thing is that it doesn't tell me about the activity

  • if you tell me the last time I started the game, but not the total hours
  • I tried to install the extension several times without success (as read in another post) (#12)
  • Additional info:
  • Windows 10 Home 1909
  • PCSX2 1.5.0
  • PS2 integration plugin 0.7.6
  • GOG Galaxy BETA 2.0.12

PS2 games not showing up in GOG 2.0 Client

When I added the integration into GOG Galaxy 2.0, no games are showing up

This is what I'm seeing
ss+(2019-08-10+at+03 39 24)

This is what my user_config looks like
ss+(2019-08-10+at+03 39 57)

Edit: removed picture with API key
This is what my regular config looks like

@AHCoder Not sure what seems to be causing this.

Games Not Installed

Similar to #21 but the button says Install instead of Play. If you hover over the install button it will says Not compatible.

Install

This problem happens every time I start up GOG Galaxy 2.0.25 Beta.

I have a work around when I want to play a PS2 game. Instead of entering in the settings every time, I changed the default settings in config.py with my own, then disconnect and connect the integration.

Database does not correctly recognize the title

I have Ghost Recon 2, and when I try to use PCSX2 database (use_database = True) then it does not show up in the library. However, when I try to use Giantbomb database (use_database = False) then it shows up as Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike, which is an Xbox exclusive. I'm a bit confused here.

game_times.json is empty

The game_times.json seems to be empty even after PS2 games are added to Gog Galaxy via the giant bomb method. Is this intended? I wanted to update my game times for my existing PS2 games and if possible add some game times for games on other platforms (mainly PS4)

Licensing & Usage

Several developers, myself included, have used this repository as a starting point for other plugins. But I noticed you haven't specified a License. What is your approach to others using or re-using your work? Is it sufficient to add you to a list of acknowledgements?
