hi, where did the full page translation button go and how do I translate it now

Offering to translate the page on a page that is already translated doesn't make sense (might even be confusing from a UX perspective) and being able to switch back from the context menu would be convenient.

Hello! Microsoft Edge has a built-in Bing translator, but the translation quality is not always good, unlike Google. A release of this extension for Edge would be very helpful.

The new mobile selected text translate button is nice but I have some advice

The translation button may be on the far right or left of the copied text, not next to it. No confusion.
Let this be adjustable.

Another should be the option to turn this feature on or off.

Finally, when only foreign text is detected, the translation button should appear and the option to copy this text should be given.

According to me it would be very useful if you could add an option to disable the translation for one or more languages apart from the target one.
In my case I speak english and italian and my target language is English so for every Italian website I'm being asked if I want it translated into English, and it is useless to me. Adding every Italian website to the "never translate list" is time consuming.

1. When button click

How about making a translation immediately by pressing the Toolbar or Address bar button?

Pressing the button means that the user will use the translation in the future.
So, I think it's a good idea to first translate the site when you press the button and then display a pop-up that returns to the original.

2. Selected Text

• Dark mode doesn't seem to be applied to the text selection popup. (Is it Bug?)
• When selecting multiple lines, can you show the translation result in multiple lines?
• In the case of Textarea, the button does not appear even if you drag.

Using Iceweasel mobile, spelling liberation version.

On https://mozilla.github.io/standards-positions/ , it follows the page width, not the device width, therefore it's too small & you must unzoom or you won't see it.

With the last update of Firefox mobile, this plug in is not compatible and it is deactivate by Firefox. I hope you will extend the compatibility to have again this fantastic plug in on mobile

when creating a post in the WordPress visual editor TinyMCE (i don't use the block editor) TWP is adding empty DIV tag pairs at the very end of the post - to reproduce:

1. create a new post (no title needed)
2. enter something in the post content area
3. switch to the code editor and an empty DIV tag pair is added

As DeepL's translations are more accurate, I would like to suggest the implementation of DeepL into the plugin.

Your extension is working very well for me (great work!) but I'd like to disable the popup when page translation has been activated. I can see why it'd be helpful but I personally don't need it.

It should also probably be disabled by default if the addon is pinned to the overflow menu as it currently opens a rather ugly popup window thingy (different from the one when not pinned) and not showing popups would be a logical consequence of hiding it away.

Really good extension and it only need dark mode to be perfect.

Sometimes this page opens in a new tab while I am browsing (not necessarily while anything is being translated). Not sure if it's because of a recent update, but it opens quite a long time after the browser was started. You might want to open it right when the browser starts because it's a bit intrusive the way it is right now.

Using Firefox 80.0 on Linux Mint 20. It also happened in the previous version of Firefox.

It would be great to activate the translation when opening PDF documents in FIrefox.

Translate Web Pages has begun changing my address when I enter it in an online form on a website or type it in an email. Instead of saving or leaving unchanged my address as entered, it alters it to a Spanish to English language translation. For example, if I enter my address as "1234 Camino Las Roblas" it changes it to "1234 The Roblas Road". Has recently caused issues with mail delivery.

I just noticed that the icon in the page actions drop-down in the address bar is gone with the latest update. I really liked having it there, rather than cluttering the toolbar or overflow menu.

So basically, this is just a request to have an option to return it to there.

And most of korean use "naver.com"
So, there is no reason not to use it.

Please add "papago" translation engine.

Why is it twice in addons? Is it a bug or intentional? It is disturbing and think you should be there only once

I'm worried that this add-on could be removed from AMO because of a remote script injection policy violation.
If there is no significant reason to keep the translation algorithm that uses widgets, I suggest remove it for safety.

I noticed that sometimes Google Translate not work, and it will work again after restarting the browser.

Debugging found that the background script failed to fetch the Google translation TKK. (when the network is unavailable)
Automatically update the TKK setting after 30 minutes, i must manually restart the browser to refresh TKK.

I think that when the background script fails to fetch the TKK, it should retry until it succeeds.

Please add an option to disable the automatic pop-up button wherever you select text. Personally viewed as annoying while i'm using the web. If i want to translate it, i can still right click to open option to translate.

On auto-scroll sites (eg YouTube comments or Twitter), newly loaded parts are not translated.

I was using English as target language. (My system language is Turkish) But English option is disappeared after a while. So, there is no English (Turkish: ingilizce) option on the target list.

If I visit a website in another language, it won't translate automatically.
If I check the checkbox "Always translate from XXX", close the tab and visit the same site again, it doesn't translate automatically.

I tried to configure in the options: "Automatically translate these languages", but if I click there, it doesn't show anything, I'm guessing I should get a list of some kind.
The "Never translate these sites" also doesn't show anything. The rest of the select boxes are populated.

Besides these issues, it works.

How do I add a language? When I click the downward arrow, I see only
"You have not added any languages to this list." No list of languages appears.

2. Context menu just takes me to
   <translate.google.com...> and nothing gets translated. Also, "Show the
   option to translate the page in the context menu" is on "No," but the
   option still appears.

3. I select Yandex, but the add-on still uses Google (Google is OK, I just wanted to compare results).

You can add the function of customizing the font: type, size, etc. If I understood correctly there is no such function yet?

After editing the Manifact according to the README and reading the directory in Developer mode, the following error is displayed.
However, if you ignore the error, the extension will still work. (Not all features have been tested.)

Currently, the UI of the extension is a widget with buttons. But it would be great if the user interface looked more native to Firefox and was a menu, as you can see in the screenshot. Also, the icons should be monochrome.

It'd be great to have the ability to translate the selected text, same as in the official Google Translate extension for Google Chrome.

After updating the extension to version 6.7, I'm having a bug where some parts of the page can't be translated.
When I tried lowering the version, version 6.6 had fewer bugs than 6.7, but I still see bugs.
Version 6.2 can translate without problems.
The range that cannot be translated may change.
I have tried it with Firefox clean profile, another PC, and another browser (Tor Browser, Google Chrome, Vivaldi) and I've encountered the same issue.

"Traslate this [Whole Domain] or [exact URL/Page] to [Language] on every
visit? [ ]"
(Domain or exact URL to a given language)

Example if i wanted www.strangesite.xyz to be traslated to NORWEGAIN at
every visit to that page/domain regardles of current encoding ? And
leave other pages with same language original and untranslated...

This way it can be "Set and Forget" config for that
url/page/domain...regadles of what the site reports as it's language.

Can make it more usefull for some... like me :) as i visit many sites in
lets say Japan... but like to select withch pages to translate... not
just ALL JAPANESE PAGES... Somtimes it part of the design of the page one
might want to see in it's original form :)

I have notice that, this option is not working while it is disabled on Firefox " Show the button to translate the selected text" -- " No " still it is appearing every time while copying the text such as website, emails, . It is very difficult to copy a text as well as it is disturbing on all sites even not able to view the text while copying .

Again noticed after choose of " Never Translate this site " option also the translate button is appearing every text.

Kindly fix this issue
