After about 10 full compilations of pcl_visualization, I arrived here, just as I expected :-)

Use a vtkAreaPicker instead of vtkPointPicker.
Add registerAreaPickingCallback methodes.

Well seems to be working on my side.
I tried with the pcl_viewer binary.
I guess it has something to do with how vtkAreaPicker behaves on Mac.
I will come up with a fix today hopefully.

Can you please check out my fork and then switch to "fix_pcl_video_player" branch and see if this fixes it ?
