I cloned the package but when I run catkin_make from the workspace directory the package isn't found.
The Indigo branch was last updated 5 years ago and seems to still contain a rosbuild package.
master
has seen more activity and was converted to Catkin in #2.
This seems to be confusing (at least some) users. See how to replace rosbuild_link_boost() with the catkin macro on ROS Answers for instance.
Should the Indigo
branch be removed?
Thinking of a package with a better name than kvh
, like kvh_dsp3000_driver
or similar.
I think the pkg
attribute in dsp3000.launch
file should be kvh
instead of dsp3000
. Otherwise I get the following error:

I am working with ubuntu 14.04 and indigo on the Husky Robot. I am trying to communicate with the kvh dsp3000 gyro. Downloaded the packages from the master branch. compiles and builds successfully. Now, I plugged in the gyro to the robot PC and checked that there is /dev/clearpath/fog
path on my system, then I ran roslaunch kvh dsp3000.launch
and it gave me the following error.
