Using docker-ros without .repos fails

I have no .repos file. When including ENABLE_RECURSIVE_VCS_IMPORT: 'false' in the Gitlab CI file the pipeline fails.

  • Adding an empty .repos doesn't do the trick. "Input data is not valid format: 'NoneType' object is not subscriptable"
  • Adding a .repos with "repositories:" works but that seems a little hacky.

about clone directory

Hi,
In section "build image locally", i was confused about the ros rpository. Does that mean my ros installation directory or my workspace? or docker installation directory
